The Mission of the Burlington Blaze Organization!

We are a traveling baseball team from Burlington made up of 14 year olds, whose primary objective is to teach kids the game of baseball. We believe through hard work and practice we can achieve the ultimate victories in life. Good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and reverence for family, friend and community. We also feel winning is a result of this along with team effort, good work ethic and a strong character. Playing a competitive schedule will put us on an accelerated pace to achieve our prime goal of molding them into ethical young men and developing their baseball skills and enhancing the future opportunities that may present themselves. The Burlington area was blessed with both local high schools participating in the state baseball tournament. The existence of the Burlington Blaze program will help to solidify the future of baseball in Burlington, a source of pride for residents and accomplishment for the participants.

Coaches Jon Hodkiewicz and Tim Burd have a combined 40 plus seasons of playing and coaching experience and have coached over a 100 games together. We share the same goals and philosophies in baseball and life and would like nothing more then you to be a part of our team.
